Tim Berne and M
 att Mitchell are two musicians who need no introduction at this point 
 in their careers. They appear on seven albums together with Berne’s 
 long-running band Snakeoil, have released two prior duo recordings (An
 gel Dusk and 1), and collaborated on the brilliant førage in 2017, wh
 ich showcases Mitchell performing hand-picked Berne compositions arran
 ged for solo piano. Their musical connection is deep (that’s an unde
 rstatement) and it is on full display on their latest effort.
